LINDSAY’S STORY
I grew up in the hamlet of Claremont Ontario where the love of fresh air, beautiful sights, a sense of community and of course, a plethora of outdoor activities were all a part of growing up in the country. At the age of 13, I fell in love with snowboarding and quickly learned that the “hills” of Ontario were never going to satisfy my urge to shred. Watching snowboard movies that were filmed in Whistler, British Columbia, I knew my future would unfold in this place called “Whistler.” Four years later, I made the move, and while Claremont will always have a place in my heart, I have never looked back.
After living and working in the resort for a season, I had fallen deeply in love with Whistler and decided to stay forever. I now live the epitome of the Whistler dream come true, enjoying the mountain lifestyle with all its adventure, recreation, and culture.
My interest in Whistler’s real estate market began when I became a part of the high-paced sales team at Club Intrawest. It was there that I began to develop the professional work habits and style that led me to a position as a Licensed Manager at a start-up rental and strata property management company. During that time, the Sea-to-Sky’s real estate market became my major interest and, in 2004, I joined The Whistler Real Estate Co. so that I could focus my time on real estate sales and development – and helping others live the dream.
In 2013, I successfully qualified for and acquired my Managing Brokers License, a coveted designation that very few Realtors® in Vancouver/Whistler hold.
Although I still love many of the winter sports in Whistler, I now spend my time in this wonderful community in a variety of ways. Dining out with friends at one of the many amazing restaurants in Whistler. Spending time at the beach in the summer months, golfing, canoeing, paddle boarding, swimming, and hosting barbecues at my home in Whistler. You will always find me in attendance at the many concerts, festivals and events that take place in Whistler. I love being a part of this wonder-filled community that welcomes visitors from all over.
You can reside anywhere in the world, but if you have been to Whistler, even if for just a day, you will know what it is like to Live Where You Love.
